Just wanted to share this calendar/wall hanging that I made. I painted the board with antique white and then sanded it and used a stain to distress it. I printed the calendar off the computer and distress the edges with my Distrezz It All and inked it with Tim Holtz ink and use Twinery twine to attach it to the peg on the board. The paper used was Prima. Flower branches and butterflies are Recollections. The nest/branch came from Joann's. Bird and eggs came from Michael's. Clock is a Tim Holtz piece. Flower pot is one from Michael's and broken in half. The labels are an Accucut die Convertibles Nameplate 5 1/2" and also the 101/2", Convertibles Alphabet Lynn's House (words--day & to) Curlz Upper Case Die set 1 1/4" (word--remember) Curlz Numbers 1 1/4" (2011) and the Book Heart 2die as an envelope to hold all the other months and attached it to the back of the board, I also punched holes partially around the heart and ran Twinery twine through it.

The flowers were stamped with Memento Black Ink Pad and then colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. Then I cut out the flowers. The hot pink, light pink and orange flower were cut between each petal and then I curled each petal with a toothpick and then layered them. The purple flower was cut between each petal and the I pinched the petals in half and then layered them. The two that are layered with pink and purple were done like the ones Kathy Orta did in her video. After all of the flowers were glued I took ColorBox in Chestnut Roan and randomly touched the flowers.

Sew Many Cards design (birthday card & cake)

I made this for my daughter's 8th birthday using a SewManyCards digital stamp design. We made tie blankets & tie pillows at her party and Angela at SewManyCards custom made this "PERFECT" design for us. http://www.shop.sewmanycards.com/product.sc?productId=167&categoryId=55 I enjoy making her invites and this time I tried something new (I got the idea from another lady on SewManyCards, http://tannyps-rubbish.blogspot.com/2009/10/cardmakers-challenge.html ) I used the digital stamp design to make the card and the cake design. Just to let you know, from trying this myself, stay away from the gel icing, and I reccomend getting your icing ready before you start and invest in the stand by Wilton to hold your icing upright. I would think I was finished with the color and start with a new color and then have to try to mix and match the color again because I realized I had missed spots. UGH :( I will definately try this again but will do things a lot different. I was not as happy with this as I would have liked to be, but I plan to practice.

The brads on this card are made with an Itop from the felt that we used to make the tie blankets. I used a MS punch around the page for the scallop look.

"The Best" Gypsy case

These are made by CASE LOGICS (lrg case is the flat screen GPS travel kit & the small case is medium camera case)

I thought I would share my find with you all.

I am very pleased with this case and it protects my Gypsy very well. I bought the two cases separately because I wanted the option to not take my chargers and stand everywhere I go but I wanted to keep all my "G" parts together. In the larger case it stores the G and then on the other side at the top there is a pouch that stores the USB cord & cartidge connector. Below that there is a small pouch that the stylus fit into perfectly (holds several), then you have the velcro tab that opens this up to another compartment that holds the G Wanderings and Font cards, also holds my extra screen protectors and a wipe for my screen. In the smaller case it holds a car charger, wall charger and the stand for the G. These are made by Case Logic.

I purchased my Gypsy yesterday at Michael's. I am lovin' my gypsy as of now! I welded my daughter's name (Lynzy) inside of the heart, this is all one piece!! AMAZING!! I am having fun playing with my Gypsy. I have not loaded my carts yet because I want to be sure I am going yo keep it. But I don't have a negative thing to say about this baby :)

*Stamped the image on Mulberry paper using StazOn (Timber Brown)
*Wet and plucked the paper

~~Brown background~~
*White piece of card stock
*Then riping masking tape and placing it randomly all over the card stock *StazOn ink pad (I used Timber Brown & Saddle Brown) rub in onto the top of the tape & then quickly take a paper towel and rub it around to coat the entire piece of taped paper
~~Pink strips~~
*Same instructions as above except.....~~
* I used StazOn in Cherry Pink on the tape
~~Flowers were negative pieces from a Martha Stewart edge punch and then chalked~~

I used the fun DEER die from Scrapping Cottage exclusive CottageCutz die and the MOOSE also from Scrapping Cottage exclusive dies CottageCutz. The rest of the designs on this layout were handdrawn and colored in with markers. The tree is made from Mulberry paper, if you have never tried Mulberry paper, you must, it is so fun to work with, and the ornaments are brads. The moon was colored with metallic colored chalk ink.

My favorite is this adorable treehouse!!

This is a very detailed die, yet the pieces are big enough to work with. I had so much fun with this die, I decided to make one page for my girls and one for my boys. I also used the cottage cuts lemonade stand die to make the signs.

(no girls/no boys allowed signs)

These dies are great! Everytime I order CottageCutz I have no worries of being disappointed with the die when I get it. As a matter of fact, they are always better than I expect. I love these dies as you can tell, so try them for yourself and see what all my rave is about!!!
